Back to school will mean back problems for thousands of students.
The problem? Backpacks and bags that weigh too much or aren’t properly adjusted.
Dr. Shelby Vojtech, a chiropractor with Chiromax in Twinsburg, says a student’s backpack should not weight more than 15 percent of their body weight.
That means a 100 pound student should carry no more than 15 pounds in books and supplies.
